Maya (“Mags”) is a creative-analytical senior writer and strategist with +15 years of experience turning complicated, data-driven material into human-friendly content.

Balancing creativity and pragmatism, she excels at bridging gaps among diverse teams—including engineers, clinicians, scientists, and designers—acting as a "universal translator" who streamlines collaboration.

She holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, a pre-MBA certificate from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree from the TMU School of Journalism.

As a passionate healthcare and patient advocate, she enjoys teaching mindfulness and meditation and has experience providing pet therapy with dogs, cats, and horses. She finds inspiration in the woods of BC, the docks of Ontario, and the waves of Hawai’i.
